Won't play Ohio State until 2020

Yes, I am sure Iowa would be just fine if it never had to play Rutgers, but I think that would true for every team in the West Division, but somebody has to play Rutgers.

I was thinking more along the lines of making schedules add up to the right number of games. And Rutgers is pretty much at the bottom of the list for Iowa. Illinois may be lower but we have to play them.

I see that Maryland rotates back on to the schedule (3rd game) but the hawks have played Rutgers just once. I figured or even assumed that R would visit Kinnick

Rutgers plays its only Iowa game on the schedule at Kinnick, Sept 7, 2019.

Maryland is scheduled twice in the next four years.

Better Schedule: Get rid of PSU, Rutgers, Maryland, and Ohio St., only because they are farther east than rest of us. That would put us back to being the Big Ten. We would play everybody, every year. Don't even bother with a championship game...we would know full well who the champion was at the end of the regular season.
You are advocating getting rid of OSU and not Nebraska? Not sure if you’re trolling, but I sure hope you are.

I'm thinking that will give Meyer some time to simmer down over this year's game. He'll have some other ax to grind by then.
