This hawkeye hardwood group is young...solid if not very good players hurt on the sidelines. Have won 8 of last 9 I believe...if they can somehow steal Kia Stoakes this will be a national team...meaning elite 8 or better. I just love watching them play. Kachine is the only girl in B10 history to have two triple doubles in one season!!!!!! To me she is Chris Street in a woman's body....
I have found myself watching this team recently,and they are hard not to root for.
Love Alexanders all-court game...she is like the best athlete playing bb at Iowa right now,men or women...rebounding maniac on par with Aaron Fuller also.
They play like lick would like the men to play...everyone can hit threes and they drive and kick very well...wish the men could shoot like them.

Don't overlook the most downright amazing stat of the evening. These undersized. undermanned Hawkeyes set a record by blocking an incredible 13 shots by the Goofer offensive line that moonlights as Pam Burton's womens team.
And that despite the scorers missing several blocks or only crediting Morgan Johnson with one block on the several occasions when whe blocked the shooter twice or more.
The Goofers--especially Tia Buford--made the score more respectable by hitting 3-point shots well the second half (after they pretty much gave up trying to take the ball inside).
