Free training, and he’s going to graduate. Which means he can transfer to a contender type program and not have to sit.Do we know why he made the choice to “opt out” especially if he’s planning on returning to play CFB next yr?

This year will not count as a year of eligibility due to COVID-19 so he will have two years left. I don't want him to leave but I can see it happening.I agree it makes sense he probably doesn’t play at Iowa next yr but saying he’s getting free training so he can transfer doesn’t make sense when you’re a starting LB. Why waste a year if you’re already a starter? Not like older is better when it come to playing in the league.
