Wisky @ NU/Minney @ OSU...who should we pull for?

For those of you who understand such terminology as "quality wins" "RPI" etc....

Who should we root for?

Minney @ OSU....pull for Minney since we recently beat them, or OSU since we don't want to be associated with losing to a team which just lost at home?

Wisky @ NU...pull for NU since we beat them twice seems like the logical play here.

As a pure fan, I want Minney and NU to both win.

I'm pulling for OSU and NU. I think Thomas goes off and OSU wins. I'm not sure Minnesota has any fight left in them...curious to see if they have a pulse. Wisconsin should own the inside and bounce NW easily but just when NW appears to have no chance they start raining in 3s from everywhere by everyone...still think I'll be disappointed with the outcome.

I'm assuming we finish 6th so I'm pulling for whatever scenario makes Wisky finish 3rd. I'd feel really good about a 2nd round matchup with them in the BTT

One factor used by the selection comittee is vs RPI top 100. Northwestern is close, just outside of the top 100. A win might move them up, making Iowa's top 100 RPI look much better.

As far as the actual RPI, The Wis/NU game is a wash, MINN helps more than OSU as we played them twice.

At this point I'm willing to play anyone in the 2nd round of the BTT. I want Minnesota and Illinois as far behind us in the standings as they can possibly get.

Definitely NW over Wisky... need them to get within top 100. Wisky still has themselves enough gimmes to get back into RPI top 25. Minny over OH State is a toss up and too complicated. Only other tough game for Minny is at IU and Iowa still needs to finish ahead of Minny. Minny wins gives the who you played... played advantage.

It still doesn't matter... Iowa needs to finish 4 and 1 and win another game or some other combination that includes 2 or 3 wins in the Big Ten Tourney.

All within reach of the Hawkeyes, all very doable, and I betting they will get it done.

After seeing Minnesota's numbers...OSU
Even though I dislike them the better Wisconsin does, it helps Iowa...Wisconsin

Wanting NW as a top 100 RPI team is all well and good, but Iowa swept them, so nothing to see there.

Minnesota and Northwestern. We need Northwestern or Nebraska in the RPI top100. Minny cause we play them twice

Minnesota is falling back on the Bubble IMO. Still "in", but they have little room for error now. They have 18 wins and 4 top 50 wins, but they have been blown out in back to back games and are 2 games under .500. They get IU next, PSU then finish @ Nebraska and @ Purdue. They need to beat PSU, Nebby and Purdue or they are in trouble.

Nothing? There's a difference between 4-7 against top 100 and 6-7 against top 100.

I'm not sure Minnesota will beat anyone other than Penn State...maybe Nebraska but they seem to be calling it quits. They aren't showing me anything...lucky they're not 4-10. Wisconsin and Iowa both could have gotten them at their place. No, I don't think they will even beat Nebraska...inability to win on the road coupled with poor play is not the recipe for success.

I wonder what kind of dance tubby is doing in the locker room tonight? Maybe the BTN can show us over the next few games..
