Ok away from the Marstellar disappointment and on to the Hawks (ok mine) recruiting wish list...

1. Bo Nickal - will be hard pressed to get him to move up north but I believe he has more upside then Marstellar

2. Jason Nolf - watch his video...just a tough dude and wrestles the "Iowa Way"

3. Haines/Or Stoll - 2 years is a long time away to wait for Bradley, although I respect his mission but lots can happen in 2 years and we need a HWT on campus

4. Cortez - Can you imagine 25 Gilman, 33 Cortez and 41 Clark. I just get excited thinking about it:)

5 Tuma - he deserves more recognition but can be a college stud.

6 Mark Hall and Aaron Pico - I know we're years away from this discussion but they're already 2 of the best HS wrestlers and NEED to be in the black and gold in the near future.
 


Darn good list. Would really be nice to get Nickal but I believe he'll be going north right into the state of Oklahoma. Not sure which school though. I still think the Hawks will land Stoll and with Delgado still having two years to go, Cortez is a good possibility at Iowa. Just my thoughts.
 






More than anything this year I am going to wish for good health of all the Hawkeye wrestlers. Watching big Bob go down early at nationals sure took the wind out of the sails for Iowa. It was also rough watching a shell of McD trying to gut it out when clearly he was hurtin.

Nickal not going to get past either Oklahoma school. Sanderson is all over Cortez to go to Penn St. If Nolf committed, then Cael is reloading before the gun is empty. Pico is nails, would love to see him at Iowa. However, the Valencia's I do not think will transfer over to college very well.

I like your list, however I have a sinking suspicion we'll go o'fer...
 










Nolf and Cortez are off the market unless someone changes their mind. There's been lots of speculation about Nickal but I haven't seen anything official. The Haines saga could be particularly dramatic depending on where he lands due to the whole 'Cael changed his mind' development. Would be great to see him exact revenge in a Hawkeye singlet. I haven't heard any rumblings about Tuma and his preferences. We'll see how the Hawks fare in this class.
