Wisconsin RB Verbals to Iowa

2016 RB Toren Young verbally commits to Iowa tonight. Here are some thoughts and highlight vids....reminds me a bit of Albert Young...not an elite top gear, but a good slasher with some vision and sneaky power

Unless I missed someone you have to go back to the 2010 class to find the last Iowa commit from WI with a full scholarship, now the first 2 making up our 2016 class are from WI.

FYI........WI already has a total of 5 RB's in their 2015 & 2016 classes, three of which are ranked 4 stars. Might have something to do with landing this young man out of Madison.

Well, since he didn't have an offer from them, it's inaccurate to say that he "chose" us over them.

I live 15 minutes from his high school. He goes to monona grove. IVe seen him play multiple times. I have a really good friend whose son played with him. He's a nice kid, hard worker, I just didn't see him even being a division 1 recruit. Again, great kid, started for MG as a sophomore for their D2 team that won state. He's just no where near compareab to Albert Young, he needs a lot of work to be there. I'll talk to him in a couple of days and report back to you all on his feelings of KF! Sweet to hear!

Sounds like you are not high on this kid at all. Yet you say sweet to hear. Your post is confusing to me.

Interesting get. He's not a speedster but moves his feet well in the hole. It's been awhile since Iowa had a home run threat really. Maybe Wadley and that new kid from FL coming next yr can be that. Don't get me wrong having a tough durable kid that can do alittle of everything is great. But having that extra gear is what separates em.

More than ever before, paying attention to recruiting right now is absolutely pointless. The likelihood of KF being gone after this season is extremely strong. When that happens, every commit will be re-evaluating their status as an Iowa commit. I wouldn't waste any time whatsoever looking at FB recruiting over the next 12 months.

How well has white been? He's heen playing awesome hasn't he? Smart guy. He got a stinger and couldn't play through his heart is only in a game if it's against a team from Ohio can't wait for him to leave. Kill me about my opinion, it won't change d***head
