So what's your expectation for Thursday night? Will Butler be content to play grind-it-out-ugly like the tOSU-Wisconsin matchup in the B1G tournament? Or will Stevens try to open it up?

Who are you pulling for?

I should be for the B1G team but have a hard time supporting The Vulture in anything.

I don't think Mack (hope that is the right guard) will go for 36 or whatever he had the other night and Taylor won't be 1-12. WI has too many bigs and I think they will smother Howard.

Butler is a hell of a team and one of my favorites to watch. Pulling for WI, but won't be rooting against Butler.
 
Flock Butler!. I never want to see another Butler post on this site. Anyone that posts anything about Butler must love the "Butler Way" or Lickliter.
 
I saw both of Butler's games in DC. Don't confuse TL Iowa teams with Butler. much of the time, their ball movement was a thing of beauty. Had a couple of plays after time-outs that we stunning.

Then based on your past of predictions- I say 50-49 at the 1/2.

Don't confuse waiting for a good shot and making a high percentage of those shots with what we saw out of Iowa and your COY candidate TL. Besides, TL might have done much better if your all conference selection Anthony Tucker stayed around.

Also, how many PPG did Iowa avg this year compared to:
Wisconsin this year?
Butler this year?
Iowa last year?

Wow, seriously? Learn to let s*it go. I'm sure your bracket is just as busted as the rest of us. We all biff predictions. I'm certainly not going to bash Spank for it. The rest of us have relative anonymity when it comes to that stuff.

The Mack vs Taylor matchup will be very interesting. Both are bulldog strong,and tough,and clutch(the other nite was an aberration for Taylor)....worth the price of admission right there. It will be a tight ballgame,maybe OT. Butler does move the ball so well, they might pull it off,but the emergence of Brueswitz does give Wisky yet another 3 pt shooter....and Jarmusz shot well the other nite as well....if those two and nankavil,leuer and taylor are all shooting....look out. Wisky by 1.
