Winning out

It's also possible that the highlight of our 2013 season will be that we beat the Minnesota Gophers.

.......or will it be that we looked better losing this year?
 
I think we'll need to play a really good game against Michigan, but it's doable.

Purdue & Nebby I'm still expecting to beat.
 
What will it ****ing take for you kool aid drinkers to realise Kirk needs to go and that these horrid losses have happened every year he's been here? I honestly want to know what it will take for you to realize this. 0-12? Kirk literally crapping in the middle of the field? What is it?

Purdue sucks. Michigan and Nebraska barely have a pulse.

Maybe you should go try and take yourself back to before the season started and think 8-4. You would have taken that no doubt so it would be one hell of an accomplishment for the team. I'm not sayin it will happen but don't I find it funny you describe Michigan as a team that barely has a pulse that was ranked in the top 25 this week. Yeah they got beat to an instate rival and that sparty D will cause any team in the nation problems.

Anyways... I'm just trying to say winning out would be a huge accomplishment even though I don't think it will happen.

Oh. Well in that case, winning the national championship would be a helluva accomplishment. Now I don't think we'll do it, but........................... lol
 
Cant win if you can't score. Plenty of evidence we can't score. We will struggle against Purdue 20-17

I am really tired of hearing talk that MSU has an elite defense until we see them go down and shut down an SEC opponent or a high powered PAC-12 team in their bowl game. That will be the measure of how good they really are. Remember a couple of seasons ago where a 2 or 3 loss Bama team thrashed them 49-7 and they had one of those great defenses?

Yes they are very good but keep in mind good in the context of a bad football conference who many experts consider the 5th best BCS conference out of 5.
 
Iowa will beat Purdue and get to a bowl. I'm extremely confident in that. Outside of that I could see the final two games going either way but probably more likely to lose them.

Nebraska has a pulse after that defibrillator shock they received yesterday. They will truck us in Lincoln. FACT.

Michigan will pound us because they are Michigan and we are not.

We could easily give Purdon't their only B1G win. Iowa is averaging 9.5 ppg in regulation over the past two weeks.

We have egregiously incompetent coaches coaching down mediocre talent.

I have heard this too many times.. Our opponents D is bad, so our offense should roll... But it sputters anyway. Good D or bad D, our offense just doesn't have it. I'll Agree that all three games are winnable, but I won't be shocked if Iowa loses any one of them. I just have zero faith in the offense.

Right, against the mighty defense of Northwestern the first drive of the game the offense dominated the line of scrimmage. Then Northwestern made adjustments and the offense crapped out. At halftime the opposing coaches are making adjustments based on how the first half played out while it appears our coaches just preach execution in what they already run.

Sounds about right. If I remember right, they even started stopping our running game in the second quarter..

*One* TD-scoring drive in the last eight quarters, at home, ain't gonna getcha nuttin!
