These freshmen are impressive. They make winning plays. Every single one of the Freshmen that have played meaningful minutes have made a winning plays. Some did that last night vs PU and others have stepped up in other games. That is the intangible the Hawks have been missing. I could list them but can leave that up to you.

Fair enough. I had in mind listing winning plays made by F that have played meaningful minutes. The first 5 on the list have all made winning plays at crucial times in at least one game. You would hope players that play a lot would do that and 1-4 on the list start. It is huge that it doesn't need to be Jok at winning time. He has willing help to make the play. These guys all embrace the opportunity and have proven they can deliver.

That was too much work. So I just listed them.:D

if these guys continue to grow and play as a team, we could win the Big 10 within the next 2-3 years.
If Iowa beats Northwestern, and Iowa State loses to Kansas both teams will have the same amount of losses. Hopefully, Iowa can make a run in the conference. Anyway, they are doing pretty good for starting four freshmen. The freshmen are getting more comfortable every game. They are in sixth place in the conference standings. If they would of beaten Nebraska in the first overtime they would be tied for first place.
