Wing span is the distance from finger tip to finger tip, it does not mean he has the reach of a 6' 9" man. I think most understand that but thought it worth clarifying.

7'3" is remarkable and at 6'9" those long arms will likely give Olesani the tallest reach on the team again next year for whatever that is worth.

Actually that's pretty much what it means. The average person has a wingspan of 102% of their height. So in the majority of cases, the wingspan is close to the height of a person.

No biggie. Everywhere I can find has him as just under 6' with a 6'3" wingspan. So above average none-the-less.

I also find it hard to believe that Kevin Willis only had a 6'7 wingspan.

I have no info to back up my skepticism but I seem to remember him as having long arms.

I can't be sure of the exacts but I know Kevin willis had short arms and small hands. They used to remark about it frequently. 6'7" wing span and the hands if a 6' man I believe. They used to go on about how he could not palm a basketball.

Also a clarification on my above post, wing span is measured finger tip to finger tip accross the chest, not toes to finger tips. So while it does mean Adam has the same wing span as a 6'9" guy, his height reach should still be a couple inches higher than most players in the 6'9" range.

Not that its that big a deal.

NBA measures in shoes. That makes him a legit 7 footer.

He is well known for having T Rex arms. It makes his career longevity all the more impressive.
