You are joking aren't you? Last I check CJ didn't quit in the middle of the year on social media.
Might want to educate yourself and listen to Casey Beathard's interview with Rob Howe and Pat Harty. CJ tried like hellz to talk Willies out of quitting, CJ didn't do anything at all that Willies did.
That wasn't his point I don't think. If CJ didn't threaten to leave first, he would be gone right now and we would have a worse QB taking snaps this year. I understand if people just don't believe Willies deserved more play time than he got last year, it's hard to believe, but I understand it. What I don't understand is why so many people worry about how Willies quit instead of focusing on why he wasn't playing in the first place. That's what most pro Willies people care about.
I hate that Kirk over values the safe player and leaves us with no play makers. But I also hate that Willies quit instead of sticking it out. If you felt the same way as me, what would you care more about? The coach who is still here making the same blunders, or the teenager who isn't here anymore?
And just so you know, I know that you don't agree that Willies should have been playing more. I'm just saying that a lot of people do feel that way and that's why it comes off as sticking up for a quitter when in reality, they are just choosing to be concerned with the coach. That's the best way I can explain the "pro Willies" side.
