Williams

How can you not be happy for the last couple games he's played? Start off the season thinking your the starter and the man at PG. Then not so much and not only that hardly playing much off the bench either for a long stretch of the year. Then when given more of a chance taking it and running with it. It's not that he's been doing anything out there we didn't think he could. He's just been playing hard and been opportunistic and gotten some positive results from it. It shows that Fran doesn't forget about you. If you keep your head up and do well he'll get you back in there. I look forward to him going forward along with the rest of the young group.

There's no way we win that game without Williams. A few weeks ago I wouldn't have ever thought I would say that. He played great defense and it helped the players around him.

Yeah if he had any kind of a jumper at all to be confident in holy cow... It may never be great but I'm sure with working on it he'll improve his free throws and jumper. Put Jobo in his body and you'd have a heck of a player.

Good game yesterday, best game of the year - which doesn't say much. Let's not act like he's been anything other than a disappointment this year though. Bohannon has outplayed him, and Williams hasn't looked like a serviceable backup for most of the year. That said, we don't win last nights game without his play.

Has anyone noticed that maybe the light bulb went off for him and maybe the Cookie monster....dudes were phenomenal last night

Maybe he should have been given more minutes before last night. Yes he had a slow start and was beat out, but it often takes minutes to gain confidence. The guys are all individually better now than at the start of the season.

Unfortunately, the team has not really progressed as much as they needed to.

With Jordan not shooting well lately and his struggles on defense it might not be a bad idea to start Williams for a few games and see what happens.

The last 5 games or so he has played like the way you wanted him play all year. He had a good game against Indiana, but he has been solid for the last 4 or 5.
