IMO, the biggest reason Iowa went 12-0 last year was because we were something like a plus 14 on turnovers. You guys talk about avoiding mistakes like its a bad thing.

I'll give him credit for the 12 win seasons . . . but will you give him credit for the sub 7-win seasons?

It's definitely not a bad thing but you can over emphasize it also in which players will not react instantly. Our fan base is even obsessed about penalties. We are so used to not committing them that when we do it's just awful. It's just an opinion. Take the goal line stands. We are very good at them and why are they? Yes I know they let one get away last year.

Not sure how this plays out.

But if we had wins against MSU/LSU . . . instead of MACtastic/Sucklones/Rutters - every thread on this board would be mentioning a national championship.

Having said all that Wisky has been impressive against Ohio State - I only mention that cuz I think we've beaten them ONCE IN THE LAST 25 YEARS!
