Funny story:
When they were teammates in the early-90's, Michael Jordan would make fun of Will Purdue by calling him "Will Vanderbilt." Jordan said Will wasn't good enough at basketball to be named after Purdue.

Also, Michael Jordan was a huge jerk who was very mean to most of his teammates.

I can see it now. Bad weather. A few Hawk turnovers. A boiler fake punt and onside recovery. Lose 21-20 or something rendering my block of hotel rooms in Detroit for the Pizza Pizza Bowl valueless.

I hope not but the Wisky game will take a lot of their energy and emotion.

Purdue is terrible but it seems KF teams for the past 6-7 years have always stumbled against at least one team they should clobber. WMich in 07, ISU many times where hawks lose to inferior clown teams, CMich last year, Purdue last year, NW way too many times.

Purdue is the one game remaining that the players need to really take to the bank. So I hope that KF pulls out whatever motivational methods he can to get and keep the players as high as needed.

If the hawks can clobber Purdue that might also be a sign that this staff has a little more killer instinct.

Iowa fans could make it a home game for Iowa! Let's do it..Not a bad little drive from Eastern Iowa. We should have 20,000 there.

I was checking ticket prices for the game on Stubhub, they are through the roof since the Northwestern win.

I think these guys know that it is their best chance at at win and to make a bowl game. I don't see a let down.

I sure as hell hope they dont think like that

I count about 1700 seats still available in the south stands for $2 or less. They have a horseshoe stadium, and I think the south stands are detached from their shoe. We could fill that south stand up with Hawkeye fans!

That must be weird for a coach. Think about how much stress you would have if you got to keep your job depending on how good you were at it. Purdue and their crazy ideas.

It's True, my apologies. I have even seen a couple positive ones from ya.... Total Anarchy !!!

It was a quick response on my part. I gotta say, a least you've always been pretty consistant with your criticism. Some of these new clowns are all hyperbole, all the time.

I totally agree. I dont usually post on gamedays because there is so much kneejerking that its pointless. Too many people being upset during the season then forgetting they were upset after a couple months.

I'm usually drunk on gamedays and when I go back and reread my posts the next day, they are pretty good.
