Will Olaseni be dropped from the rotation?

Fran has repeatedly stated he is going with a 10-11 man rotation based on needs, no reason to stop doubting him now
also at Seinna he did not have the depth to go this deep

its not like Fran might have been exaggerating...right?

we need to score, and find a nice set of dudes who can. we can worry about the other stuff once that's settled.

I don't think he or I are saying we WANT GO to be dropped but just wondering if it could happen given Fran is usually a short bench guy and I still think this year we won't necessarily play 10 every game. But hey I could be wrong, and if we find a way to make it work, that depth could be awesome.

I think the wholesale shift changes are part of the reason why we have so much trouble establishing a rhythm on offense. However, when push comes to shove, he won't be running 11 guys on the court.

Just look at yesterday's game. After we were down in the 2nd half, Fran shortened it to a 7 man rotation. Olesani, May, and Clemmons did not see the court. Lo and behold, we started putting some runs together.

Once we reach BoneG season, I suspect those three players will only be getting 5 minutes per game.

Actually he wasn't second guessing he was predicting what Fran will do in the future.

Maybe Fran should be benched or fired according to some of the comments left on the game thread yesterday during the end of the first half and at the half.......lol. You shouldn't let emotion dictate what you type on message boards. It's all there for everyone to see.

I disagree.. the game thread is fair game.. be emotional say stupid sh!t (like I do, well all the time nm) but if you bring you're emotion into another thread then run away from the boards

This may be the case, but coaches can be stubborn once they decide something is right for their system. See TD for whom always full-court pressing often worked but sometimes not and TL- 'nough said. Fran may have decided that, for strategy or recruiting purposes, he's going to stick to the 10-man rotation no matter what. Maybe, more often than not, he's right.

I'm starting to think Fran will go into games with an idea of what line-up might work and then works all 10 guys into the game by halftime and then hopefully finds the right group for the second half. Could be wrong though. And as for Oglesby playing instead of Clemmons second half I think Fran just wanted to go with the hot hand and was ****** at Sapp for his stupid turnover.

Lol, I put down my iPod at halftime while sitting at my desk with only two words piercing my lips...."holy Sh!t". I was already pi$$ed off about the Michigan game. Speaking of crazy Sh!t I predict an upset in Iowa City on Friday. It will be a Black Friday for my neighbor who is a big bug eater fan. I wonder if they will carry Kirk off the field and tare down the fieldgoal post.......could help but chuckle just visualizing it. Lol

I would prefer not to do this. If you recall two days ago, he tried this and we were down 20 at halftime.
