Will Keith Duncan go pro?

I saw a tweet today where George Kittle started following Keith Duncan on twitter.

Why would George do that if Keith still couldn't tweet for another year? Does he know something we don't?

If Keith wins the Groza award or even if he doesn't how much better could he be positioned to go pro than after a year like he's had?

Just thinkin out loud..........

Are you saying he's gonna sit out the bowl game?

"For the 28th pick of the first round, the California Chargers select.......Keith Duncan......kicker the University of Iowa."

George Kittle and a whole bunch of other non NFL players followed him in the couple days after the game. People say my takes are dumb, but goddamn.

First you're saying Sargent might go pro, now Keith Duncan...

Dude...

What is Duncan's distance? I know its improved from his freshman year but I believe it's still pretty short by NFL standards.

His career long is 49 yards? He doesn't handle the kickoffs.

Doubtful any NFL team would take him.

Shudack behind him is a redshirt JR. The staff has said the competition was close between the two prior to the season. From a team prospective Duncan going pro might not be such a bad deal.

Not sure how strong his leg is. He sort of line drives longer kicks. Guess is he gets a lot blocked in NFL at this point

In the NFL if you don't make your field goals, you're gone. So far this year, Keith has made 29 of 34 field goals for 85%$, that's pretty good. I also agree he'd be more atractive if he was making them from 55 yards in instead of 49.

If I were an NFL GM and watched film of the end of the Nebraska game and watched Duncan twice kick winning field goals with the game on the line in bad weather I would want to know more.

Does Shudk deserve a shot at kicking field goals? If he has he own pro dreams he probably does. Maybe he's the one that goes grad transfer?
