Looked like about 60% of the seats were empty for UNI from the TV view....

No, but it will be a better crowd then there was for the UNI game. The game is on Friday so it's more convenient for more people to come out then it would be during the week. There should be even more students because there's more interest in a game against Iowa State, but hopefully more will actually stand in the student section instead of sitting in the section next to it. Another problem is that it seems like some season ticket holders aren't showing up cause there's major gaps along courtside where the TV cameras are pointed. Which is unfortunate cause the opposite side has been pretty full all year long. What's going to fill Carver are single season tickets, so hopefully we will have some real nice crowds during Big Ten play.

This game drew just a shade over 13K 2 years ago, so there isn't any way it sells out this year.

Keep in mind, the people at home see the seats behind the hoop on TV.
There were over 10,000 fans at the UNI game.
Carver holds around 15,000.
Give or take a few, only 33% of the seats were empty.
The entire sides were full from row 1 to row 42 (scattered single empty seats, of course)

I would expect around 11-12 K for the game on Friday....still not where it should be, but it is getting better. As long as the team keeps playing hard and winning some games, the fans will start to show up!
There weren't 13k in the stadium that day.

If UNI drew 10 on a tuesday I think 13 is possible for friday.
Actually it was 12,125. No way it sells out.
