Man, I don't think so. I saw a team pack it in today. D-line owned and Greg Davis is apparently coaching our offense again.

So terribly disappointed and pissed at this point.

With the current version of Kirk Ferentz coaching, an 0-2 finish is very possible.

the expectations were born out of the following

1) preseason media hype about Noah and Stanley
2) how they didn't suck too bad against Wisconsin
3) how they smoked Minnesota and Indiana.

That's it folx.

51% chance against Illinois , at best 10% chance against Nebby , never ever thought I would say this being one of the rose colored glasses dudes , but done watching for this year , no need to yell obscenities at the TV and that seems to be mostly what I do watching the games , downside is , not sure basketball is going to be any better , hope I am wrong on that one

I don’t think so. This looks like 2010 so unless a team gives Iowa the win like Missouri did, I think they lose 3 more in a row

If our last 2 games were reversed, we would lose them both for sure. Nebraska would beat us next week and Illinois would beat us if it was the last game of the season and we were on a 4 game losing streak. Since it lays out this way, we stand a chance of righting the ship next week and having fresh life against Nebraska in 2 weeks.

Unheard of 5 weeks ago but might be now. This team has lost their edge in making plays. Even the defense as good as it is is not making clutch plays.

No. And the Nebraska game is going to be ugly. One coach will have his boys fired up ready to play, Kurt will stand on the sideline chewing gum and writing in his notebook on all the ways Iowa is fortunate to have him and his under-performing son.
