Will CJB beat out Jake for starting QB next year?

I'm guessing no, based on the way things have played out. I should preference that with the given CJB is still here next year.

This whole thing reminds me of little league dad. A kid pitches 6 innings, walks 20, hits five batters, and lose 20 to nothing. After the game, the other coach asks why he did not change pitchers, The coach responds with "thats my son who pitched. Isn't he great. Will you vote for him on the all star team"

Kirk Ferentz did not insert Beathard into the game or any other games when I think it became known that the kid was going to transfer. He only saw action in latter portion of the season, either because the game was out of hand or Rudock was dinged up. As for inserting him into a meaningful game, that wasn't going to happen.

Ferentz coaching career is going to end on a sour note.

Eddie isn't just some talking voice like Dolphin, he's a Hawkeye who cares about the program. You can tell it's tough for him to hold back on what he really wants to say sometimes.
