Will CJB beat out Jake for starting QB next year?

I'm guessing no, based on the way things have played out. I should preference that with the given CJB is still here next year.

Sunshine beat him out this year, and still did not start. Why would next year be any different

The sad part is CJB is a very talented player and we are sending him packing. He will get the last laugh and play on Sunday. Very troubling situation

CJ will transfer, Jake will get hurt in 3rd game, get a medical redshirt and come back and be the starter in 2016.

This. He needs actual game film for the NFL to see what he has. Transferring to an FCS school will do this.

Sunshine has an NFL arm. Riddick doesn't even have a division 1 arm.

Its absolutely stunning that Kurt started candy arm over cannon this season. It's intentional malfeasance.

It ain't wondering if you've seen it.

And he has better scrambling ability.

Seemed like, through the course of the season, that every time it looked like Rudock might end up getting benched for poor play, he would come back and look good enough for short stretches so over-cautious Kirk could justify to himself that he should keep him in.

Matt Millen even commented today that Nebraska was daring Rudock to beat them. Just like every other team this year. Teams have noticed Rudock's missing an important attribute. He can't throw the ball. He also misses a lot of open receivers.

CJ will be starting for Vanderbilt or a 1-AA team next year. He won't be anywhere near Iowa City. I wouldn't be that surprised if he transferred before the "bowl game".
