Will Anyone East of the Mississippi ...

Really did you just ask that. You dont want people to see how good Iowa is. I guess polls dont matter till the end of the season but I think we want a little bit of a look.

You'll have to excuse EddyP. He's nuts.

I don't have stats or numbers to back this up, but I think a lot of people will see the game.

Sure, some cow farmers on the east coast will go to bed but it'll be the big game without other games at the same time.

If it's an 11am game there's usually a TON of other games going on so many potential viewers will never tune in.

Plus it's a kinda down week for big matchups. Even though Arizona is just #24 it's still 2 ranked teams. I've heard a lot of national talk shows talking about this matchup.

The next day is sunday, people sleep in...this is prime time, baby!!!

There should be decent East Coast viewership, although I fear not so much among AP or coaches poll voters. I'll be watching. Going to be a short night since I need to leave at 7:30 a.m. Sunday to begin a day of refereeing soccer games.

Don't worry, the game will be over by half time and you can go to bed knowing that the Hawkeyes are going to blow out another team this Saturday night.
That is what I am hoping - for some reason working a 12 hour shift at the hosptial does not sound fun after 5 hours of sleep - here is hoping for anothe 28-0 halftime lead

Why would this possibly matter?

I should have clarified my original post, saying any non-hawk fans be watching east of Mississippi, didnt know it would turn into a roll-call, but I like it.... Like to see where fellow hawk fans have landed....

In Kentucky for a wedding (wife matron of honor) and will be leaving reception early to watch the game

Ah, a Kentucky weddin'. Did you bring your shotgun, or will the father of the bride provide you with one? :D

j/k, 'farmer. Have a nice time. :)

When I used to live in So Fla, there is/was more of party/dance atmosphere at most of the bars after sunset. Sports bars included. That being said you could always find a good seat to grab a cold one and kick back and enjoy some great football until 2+ in the AM. You would usually have some company enjoying as well, but not many. IMO.
