Wildcat?

You know, maybe the coaching staff knows that the Wildcat is so out of character for them, that they will run it. Here's my thinking: the other coaches in the Big 10 are aware of Iowa's tendencies and will scout thoroughly every game. If the Hawkeyes have shown zero trace of Wildcat all year, they won't prepare for it. Kirk and the gang know they wouldn't prepare for it, which would make running it that much more effective. With this line of thinking, the odds of Iowa running it improve to about one in a million. "So, you're saying there's a chance?"

Hey we have a tendency to run an offense that prepares our players for the pros. Not saying that's why we run the offense we do though.

But of all seriousness with the talent and depth we will have at running back, and with Derby, it wouldnt be the worst idea to implement it into future seasons.

Everyone acts like the Wildcat is some new evolutionary gimmick of the NFL. But it's the old school running formation meets pass once after ten runs.

If anything the style fits the Big 10 before any other conference.

I don't think that anyone acts like that...most are knowledgable fans here and know that the Pros snipped this from the lower levels...
