After watching video of Coe, it is obvious he ran the wildcat quite often in high school. It might sound crazy and probably wouldn't happen next year with a freshman but just the idea of coe and coker together in the backfield sounds awesome. Thoughts???
Well, my smart phone is currently in the other room charging, but off hand I'd say there is a near 100% certainty that we run a wildcat almost exclusively next year.
Coe ran a form of the Spin-Back Offense where it is snapped to a RB and he turns around to hide if there is a hand-off or not. Not technically a wildcat. Plus there is no need if you look at the wildcat it is just the single wing and it ran its course years ago and then made its back. But teams that run it it is just a gimmick and Iowa will not follow what others think is necessary. They go with the KISS method and execution over gimmicks. Look at what happened to Missouri when they ran wildcat. Morris with TFL and Prater lights up Gabbert at WR.
