Took look at a few pics of this guy. Got really good size, seems built well.
Anyone have a gut feel if he would have a shot at the mix next year?

We mostly have skinny guys on the roster now.

Wiegers noted on twitter he will red-shirt. He looks very good from his videos but what recruit doesn't look good on their you tube media release. He does have great footwork, steps up strongly when he delivers the ball, nice arm and surprisingly mobile for a drop back passer. The videos show him running zone read stuff as well as play action.

What I know: The qb position is looking better all the time. We have a solid guy now. We have a good backup. We have a nice recruit who just signed, and we should sign a stud recruit a year from now. This is not Iowa football as I remember it. If the line stays constant, and the qb position is a strength, we will be in every game and win most.
