Illinois probably talks shit about Iowa to recruits saying we don't have a flashy offense, aren't elite, and are boring. Ferentz hears these whispers and so hangs 60 on them.

I think Lovie and Kurt may have some kind of feud dating back to when they were both in the NFL and that is why the team came out all gangbusters from the opening kick today but looked so bad for the previous three weeks.
