Whoops, no...this is a WOW.... New texts and info in Ohio St Problems

Deace was right on the podcast last week. Ohio State just doesn’t really matter anymore. If they want to win that bad, let them. Urban knew, it’s painfully obvious, and Urban hid him. As far as I’m concerned, all his victories still are there, all his coaching prowess. But as a person, he’s a scoundrel of a human being.

It explains a lot: Aaron Hernandez, Chris Rainey missing about four minutes of a season (after texting an ex-girlfriend it was "time to die"), other arrests. What it does NOT explain is why Tebow would have played for the guy...

Tebow!! You act like tebow is some sort of saint. He is a competitor and he played at florida because he wanted to win, win so bad he might overlook some stuff if he even knew about this shit.

Never said he was a saint. But the kid definitely has "value".

Then again, it's likely most recruits don't get told by a coach, "Hey, I'm a scumbag!" during the typical in-home visit...

Probably no one will have to tell parents now. They should have an idea what kind of person they are considering to coach their sons. And it ain't pretty

Unfortunately, parents of recruits are a big part of the problem. Examples would be Sean(trel) Henderson, Lavar Ball, the mother who bitch-slapped her kid for not picking the school she wanted, and on and on. Come to think of it, Jeff Christensen didn't exactly inspire positivity...

They can make crappy decisions, but they should now know what they are getting with tOSU under UM. Maybe I am too much of an Iowa fan to understand why someone would want to play for someone of very challenged character. Just to win??

Tebow's parents went to Florida. They were Baptist missionaries who homeschooled 5 kids. Urban Meyer was named after Pope Urban II and had just moved to Florida from Utah, the most religious state in the Union. It's not a stretch at all for Tebow to have ended up at Florida.

A guy I know down here has a theory that Tebow was necessary at Florida to be a media distraction. He became the whole story of the team so whatever other indiscretions happened didn't really matter because the media only cared about Tebow.

Was Woody shady or did he just have a temper problem?
Nah, no one in that era was shady. They were totally clean. And guys like Woody certainly didn't recruit every decent kid in sight to keep them away from other programs with all sorts of fake promises about playing time and how they'll be stars.

Sounds like Tom Herman was Smiths strip club hopping buddy... Not sure to what extent that dampens his reputation but it sure won't help it...

Therein is one of the biggest problems with UM.

Players came after rhabdo. If that weren't big enough, then there was the new award for Doyle. I'm sure it did hurt recruiting for awhile.

I'm sure there will be some fallout for OSU.

We'll know in a few weeks if there is something shady about the starting punter. If it is obvious that something going on, it will impact recruiting to some extent.

How many of us will put up with a job to gain a certain skill set to advance our career?

What was telling was it is obvious the Meyer's knew. They steered her wrong about the restraining order. It's not easy, but it's not that hard. They were trying to silence her.

That's kind of been flying under the radar.
Yeah I get the feeling he isn't exactly a saint either... These things seem to drip out details here and there. I have a feeling there's more to his knowledge of what all went on to get leaked out too.

Would be interesting to know how much of his interest in Courtney's well being was real concern or a dig at Urban.

It'd be interesting to know for sure... All those wives at programs like that not just there tend to flock together. There's more to be seen on all those phones if anyone wanted to do more digging...
