It rained insanely hard last night for a long time, more than any storm I can remember in recent memory. Due to the size of Kinnick and the amount of rain being filtered down to the field from such a large area, I'm not surprised that it there was water on the field.

Here's a picture in Coralville at the same time near the softball fields, it was just an insane amount of rain in a short period of time. Likely not to happen again for a long time
