I think that should read car collided with train...not vice versa. I always shake my head at the idea that some idiot could have an accident with a train. The tracks are IN ONE PLACE....THEY NEVER MOVE. All you have to do is pay attention to what you're doing for about 10 feet. Is it that hard?
On a side note, isn't it about time they stopped using a red engine? No explanation needed.

What a shitty day for the driver. Get hit by a train and end up in jail. Guy is lucky he didn't die. Those Metra trains kill a few people a year over around Chicago when idiots think they can outrun the train.

No kidding, it's red with yellow stripes! Prob. the same dope that put red pom pons in Kinnick a few years back. Could you imagine if this accident happened on Saturday with a train full of Iowa fans trying to get to Kinnick?

Can you really fault the van driver? He knew the train was going to sweep to the short side of the tracks but thought for sure he would cut it back.
