We just may get our wish...Nebbe and Iowa will square off in the Fiesta this in 2011. Mark it down.

Wrong!

Only 2 teams in the Big 10 didn't play a D1AA team this year! Ohio St (who normally always does ...youngstown st) and Purdue (who does a lot to)

Only 3 teams in the Big 12. But they usually do as well

EVERY team plays a D1AA team. Maybe not EVERY year but they do play them

That's not true, most PAC 10 teams don't play I-AA teams, Notre Dame doesn't either.

I would prefer to never play a I-AA team but I think it is necessary to fill a schedule some years. For the most part I like Iowa's non conference schedule. Two easy wins, Iowa State, and then a solid opponent (Arizona, Arizona St., Pitt). Althought, I wouldn't mind one elite opponent (Tennessee, Georgia, Miami, Virginia Tech) every few years to replace the solid teams.

I picked Nebraska, Missouri and Cal. Nebraksa and mIssouri becuase i think it would be a good rivalry game. Cal is soley becuase it would give me and the wife another reason to visit the San Fran area again.

That is funny, but, my first instinct was to go with Nebraska and ND, plus Boise State. I think the Huskers would be a good rivalry game, plus they are decent competition. I just hate ND, so, would love to see the Hawks beat the crap out of them. HOWEVER, I voted based on this point in time/history, I would like to see them play the top teams from the SEC (Bama) B12 (Texas) and Boise State. I think the Hawks would show well and earn some respect.

I really like the idea of play Pitt on a consistent basis, especially now that Wanny has them on the way back up. Iowa State is a given. But I like playing Arizona, too. Personally, I'd like to see at least 3 BCS non-conference games every year. Nebraska would be a very good choice, plus there's Pelini's connection to Iowa to make it a little more interesting. So.....

1. Nebraska
2. Pitt
3. Boise State
4. Miami-wouldn't mind following in OSU's footsteps on this one
5. Notre Dame/Arizona-ND would be higher on this list if they were better. But a win over ND doesn't say a whole lot these days. I like Arizona because of the past history with them and the Stoops Connection.

That's my top 5 for BCS games other than the ISU series. On the other hand, could we just kick Minnesota out of the Big Ten and add Texas or something, making duh Goofers a non-conference game? Nah, that'd bout make our OOC schedule the weakest in the land haha.

Notre Dame, could care less who the other three are but I would love to see a home/home series with them. I have a friend and his brother who ND homers and always give me crap about the hawks, this would settle it.
