It's a two QB race. You can cut Beathard off the list unless the other are horrible or die.
According to Marc Morehouse and Rob Howe both seem to think it's Rudock and Beathard right now. RH said Beathard has the best skill set to fit GD's system. Said in practices he has seen Sokol lacks accuracy compared to JR and Beathard.
Actually he said Sokol didn't play in the portion of practice the media was allowed in. Not sure where he got that from. Sokol's accuracy was fine when he domianted the stats in the Spring game and when he threw for 3,800 yards and 43 TDs in Juco. I doubt he forgot how to throw the ball all of a sudden.
Everyone gets it you think Sokol is awesome and KF doesn't want to win he just wants to reward loyalty. Blah blah blah. Seriously, you're the one who said he was basing his opinion on what the media says, RH and Morehouse have seen both scrimmages and a few other practices, yet you still think Sokol is getting robbed.
.Dude, do you even know how to read English? Your responses are always putting words in my mouth. I think KF likes Rudock because he's careful with the ball and he thinks Sokol is a bit of a gunslinger. That scares KF and he's getting even more conservative as he gets older. Sokol would be starting in the Pac Ten because they're not shy about throwing the ball.
.
You complain about someone putting words in your mouth.......yet all you do is make stuff up and act like it is a fact. For example

Yes, he has a range of at least 15 yards which is more than enough for GD.
Rudock isn't much different than JVB running. Sure he can run but I doubt he's athletic enough to scramble while keeping his focus downfield.
You have spouted soooooo much crap about theses QB's and have seen them play an equivalent of about 20 min of football. I don't get it. I mean are you one of those guys that falls in love with a girl just because they say hi to you? Or maybe obsessive compulsive is just your deal? Or maybe you are related to Sokol. Either way it is odd they way you are soooo passionate about this with no firsthand knowledge of the competition at all

Even though I voted for rudock I don't think he or anyone is a true starter if they rotate which is what I expect in the first game.
hwk23 still basing his love of a player on one scrimmage.
Really think so? Unless the named starter really struggles i do not see it.

Ferentz always plays experience over... well, almost anything. So while Rudock hasn't played a down (yeah, we're still scratching our heads over that one), the extra year in the program makes him almost a sure thing to start.
Sokol would have to play dramatically better in practice to jump him.
