Who scores the most points this year?

Which of these players do you think will score the most points this year and why? I won't put my pick until some other people have picked theirs. But, I am going with a Hawk.

I'm going to go with McCabe. Our freshmen will get much more playing time than either Larson or Brust. I almost went with Basabe though. McCabe I think is just a good fit as a swingman, he's a Big Ten-ready body, and he's smart.

Despite McCabe probably having a better offensive game I think Basabe will get a lot of put backs off of the offensive boards so I went with him.

Basabe will get a lot of second chance pts, I think he scores the most out of the freshmen you listed.

I agree with the put backs for Basabe plus I think McCabe will play less once Gatens comes back. He will still get more playing time than Brust and Larson though.

It's gotta be amongst the Hawks. The other two bailed on us to join much more talented teams, effectively cutting their playing time. I'll go for Basabe as well although McCabe wouldn't totally surprise me.

I went with McCabe as I think he is going to get his in bunches. While I agree Basabe will get most of his on putbacks, that gets a lot tougher once the Big Ten season starts.

As for the other two, I hope in four years they are looking back and saying, " I could have had a part in the turnaround at Iowa".

Basabe will average 8.7 ppg
McCabe will average 6.3 ppg
Marble will average 2.4 ppg
Brust will average 2.7 ppg
Larson will average 0.7 ppg

FYI - Larson didn't even see the floor in Florida's home opener on Friday. He was one of only three players on their roster that didn't sniff a minute.
