Finally found a good use for ESPN. They say their FPI is a predictor of outcomes, so I cross referenced with the AP poll which is more related to actual achievement. The way I figure, if ESPN says you should be 10 based on predictors, but you are 20, then you underachieved. And vice versa for a team like Iowa. (+ is overachieved, - is underachieved)
Clemson: +5
Alabama: 0
Oklahoma: -2
Iowa: +22
MSU: +9
OSU: -3
Stanford: +4
UNC: +7
ND: 0
FSU: 0
TCU: -4
Baylor: -8
Northwestern: +40
OkSt: +3
Oregon: +10
Ole Miss: -11
Houston: +23
Florida: +5
Michigan: 0
Temple: +28
Utah: +8
Navy: +22
LSU: -10
USC: -16
Wisconsin: +2
It is pretty obvious that ESPN loves the Big12 and the SEC, but the results don't show it.
