Who is the sleeper in this class?

I have high hopes for Keppy. He's not rated high, nobody talks about him, but the coaches offered him very early. they must like what they see, and he is likely raw, so only time will tell on him.

How long of a look will Meier get at RB? Once that opportunity passes, and he accepts the move to LB, then he'll be the sleeper because he'll be a good LB. Otherwise, he'll get stuck in the depth chart at RB, and he'll never get the chance to be a sleeper.

Depending on how you qualify sleeper of course - I like Anthony Morgan, safety from Texas. Big, tall safety whose reputation is for laying people out. Love that combination assuming we stay with the cover 2 philosophy - should get plenty of chances.

I watched his(Meier) highlight tape and immediately thought he looked like he would be a bruising fullback. If he has good hands, he could be a powerful weapon catching passes out of the backfield.

With the 2012 class one day away from being official, who is everybody's pick for sleeper in this class. Obviously can't pick a highly touted guy for your sleeper.

Mine? Daumantas Venckus. High motor guy that will put some weight on and be a terror along the d line in a couple years.

Hope you're right because this is big need area but I'd go with Meier as well.

Mo Fleming isn't a sleeper but, I expect he's going to be a good one.

...or another Dallas Clark!

Having never seen Meier play, I have gathered from this thread that he has a chance to be the next Dallas Clark, Edgar Cervantes, Shonn Greene and AJ Derby all rolled into one.

I think I want to change my choice to Meier.

check out his tape...it's 8 man football, but he is far and away a man out there with the boys.

I really like Drew Ott. If he can transition to the college game from 8-man and put on some weight, he'll be a monster on either line.
