Think Oglesby would be a good candidate. Took a lot of flack early, had a tough injury early, and has bounced back quite nicely.

Somehow I don't think that Chris would have ever told the Iowa fan base to suck a big one...
IMO the award this year goes to Olaseni. Close 2nd is Gesell followed by Oglewinkel and Basabe.

Who is "Macabe"? 
I think the players vote to give it to McCabe. There's no question about his effort and work ethic and with him catching so much flack lately (I'm guilty, yes), I think they'll feel like he definitely deserves it. I think he does too, I just wish that Fran didn't keep putting him into positions to fail.

I'm preeeety sure Chris Street wouldn't have told the entire Hawkeye fanbase to SAFO, just like McCabe didn't tell the entire Hawkeye fanbase to SAFO.

I actually kind of agree with McCabe... 4 year player, Iowa kid who worked his tail off who I don't think ever missed a game due to injury/illness...
We get back to winning a few games and if zach can find a way to contribute more like he was earlier in the year and this whole twitter thing will be old news by the time the award is given.

Stokes is from Iowa. Why not Stokes?
Well i think it should go to a top player since Street was good. So Marble or White should be the guys eligible.
People trying to give it to McCabe are inventing fake ways to give him an award.
Stokes seems like a great recipient of the award. He might have improved more than anyone on the team due to hard work. Hell he earned a scholarship.
