Without White Wisconsin wins bigger than they did in Madison. But a broken collarbone would likely end his career unfortunately. I just hope they can get a home court NIT run at this point.
I will be shocked if his collar bone isn't broke.
I guess I never thought this through. If this is the case, what a horrible way to end your run as one of the best in Iowa history.Without White Wisconsin wins bigger than they did in Madison. Has anyone on here emailed the Iowa medical staff to tip them off that they need to check for a broken collerbone?
Hopefully he can make it back soon. If something like this had to happen, it actually came at a good time for Iowa. Next 3 games are probably losses even if AW was 100%. Even 1 win in this span would have been an upset with White playing.
1/31 Wisconsin
2/5 @ Michigan
2/8 Maryland
The next 3 after that are Minnesota, @Northwestern, & Rutgers. Games Iowa should win even if White doesn't play.
Then 3 swing games starting Feb 22: @Neb, Ill, @ PSU.
Basically White will have about a month to heal before that swing game stretch.
Michigan is pretty bad this year.

A down year for them, no doubt. Its more about the match-up. Teams with good guards that can score are bad matchups for Iowa, especially on the road. Irvin & Walton are going to control the game with or without White.
Its the same reason I think the game at Penn St is a swing game for Iowa. They are not good, tied last place in the B1G. But PSU is a tough matchup for Iowa because Newbill will dominate the backcourt against them.
I agree about the guard play and Penn State. I would just put Michigan in the swing game category is all.
I would also PC, Iowa never plays well in Michigan, that'll be a tough game to win....
As most of you know I am a glass half full kind of guy. But my gut is telling me this is much worse than what the coaching staff or Aaron are letting on. Would it surprise anyone to learn he was out until at least the BTT, or even that his Iowa career was done?
