I hope that a different Vandy shows up after halftime. I am not convinced he would complete passes against no defense the way he is throwing it so far.

Perhaps if he would quit trying to do the Running Man in the pocket every time he throws he could complete more passes.

Unfortunately the real Vandy showed up in the first half. I hope he can pull something out in the 2nd half. I am not optimistic though.

Looks like the one that locks onto 1 receiver and can't look at option two. It also looks like the one that hasn't progressed throughout the season as well as the same one that continues to follow whatever Ken and Kirk ask him which is clearly the wrong damn path....

Lots of drops by Iowa WRs this year, but lots of spectacular catches by McNutt that bailed out Vandy.

Can someone, anyone, explain why it is reasonable to believe Vandy will have a good game against OUs defense? He hasn't had a good game against a reasonably good defense this year. Or perhaps you did not watch the PSU, MSU, Nebraska, etc games this year. BHGP had a great article awhile ago that set out Vandys lack of productivity against average and above defenses. We are just lucky that OUs defense-while pretty good on the whole-isn't as stellar as it usually is.

I guess some folks are still clinging to that one good game he had two years ago, and/or are listening to way too much Soundoff.

Bumping my own post because it's true. Sad, but true.
