Which Vandy shows up?

We all know how Vandenberg has struggled on the road this year. While this is a neutral site game it is away from Kinnick. Does everyone think his struggles outside the friendly turf of Kinnick will continue, or with the extra prep time will he be prepared in the game plan and have a big game? Needless to say he is going to have to perform well for us to have any chance tonight.

Hopefully his sister. Yowza.

Pic? I've seen his mom, and she is milf-tastic. I take it the apple didn't fall from the tree with his sister?

As for the OP I can only hope to God JVB can, for just one game, look like a D1 QB on the road. If he can't we have no chance.

Both QB's are coming off poor efforts in their last games. If Vandy has time to set his feet and throw, I think he will be fine. The Nebraska game was an aberration,I believe.
Watching some of these bowl games...like ND vs FSU...I would take Vandy over many of the QBs. His footwork kicks their arses!

The question isn't which JVB shows up by what kind of WR show up....the ones that catch everything or the ones that drop passes all game.

Sister pic????? Waiting.....

Hopefully 8 gauge shotgun JVB shows up, and reads everything like a book.

I'd love to see the shotgun hurry-up offense, but given the explosiveness of OU's offense, I see us taking a more slow down approach. Without a running game it might just be a big 12 looking game.....no defense.

I don't expect all-shotgun-all-day either. Just want him to be POTENT when the time comes. I'm absolutely blank as to any feelings of how stuff might work out tonight.... Like it would matter if I had a feeling anyways.............................

You people are crazy if you think we're going shotgun hurry up.

And JVB will have a good game. "DI QB", gimme a ******* break.

It counts as a drop if it hits the receivers hands.

Many of JVB's throws were lucky to hit a receivers hands.

Most of the drops were because of poor throws.

I don't have a pic but they introduced the families that came to the game last night at the pep rally. She walked past me as rhey left the stage. And she does not disappoint.

The coaches need to get jvb and the receivers in high percentage routes to start off the game. JVB's first two passes at nebby to moving receivers were so high and wide I knew it was not his day. He hit a couple early ones to stationary coker over the middle early but that was about it.

I think if the coaches call early quick passes to stationary targets to get some completions then jvb can get in a rhythm. I can see OU blitzing alot so receivers need to break routes off quick and jvb needs to have his best day reading blitzes.

I see jvb having an above avg game around 60% completions, maybe fewer yards per catch unless we break some tackles or do pop a couple long ones, so around 220 total yds, and hopefully more tds than ints.

Totally agree on needing to get him some easy completions early. If OU comes out blitz happy I would love to see a few screen passes, but they always seem to disappear from the playbook at the strangest times.

Which RB's will show up today? The one we almost know nothing about, or the other one we know almost nothing about?

clearly you did not watch many games this year.....plus, if it hits your hands, you're suppose to catch it.

Lots of drops by Iowa WRs this year, but lots of spectacular catches by McNutt that bailed out Vandy.

Can someone, anyone, explain why it is reasonable to believe Vandy will have a good game against OUs defense? He hasn't had a good game against a reasonably good defense this year. Or perhaps you did not watch the PSU, MSU, Nebraska, etc games this year. BHGP had a great article awhile ago that set out Vandys lack of productivity against average and above defenses. We are just lucky that OUs defense-while pretty good on the whole-isn't as stellar as it usually is.

I guess some folks are still clinging to that one good game he had two years ago, and/or are listening to way too much Soundoff.
