2015 offense was better than given credit when compared to other offenses under Ferentz.
They scored above 30 points in 8 games. Three of the other games Pitt, Illinois, and Neb were 27,29,and 28 respectively.
The running game was effective plugging in three different running backs.
The passing game was within the average range. Pass pro blocking was never all that good.
They ran into trouble against good defenses, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Stanford.
It was an effective offense that could grind out the yards, took advantage of opportunities, and get an occasional big play.
Not an offense anyone would really fear though.

2015 defense was pretty average when compared to other offenses under Ferentz.
Not much pressure by the defensive line on opposing quarterbacks late in the year.
They did produce a good steady stream of turnovers.
