Which is greater in number?

The number of Big East teams or the number of Spinal Tap members.

We know, from David St. Hubbins, shortly after Nigel's "sabbatical", that "Over the years, there have been 47 different members of Spinal Tap".

COnsidering the members that have left, are leaving, the Catholic 7, and the incoming members, are there more, historically, members of Spinal Tap or more Big East participants/members.

I await the replies...

i'm curious to see what happens to the big east. feel kinda sad for the teams still stuck there. does the ACC make a push for UConn now? same with South Florida.

Hate to reply in my own thread, but just how long is the Big East tournament? Eight or nine days? If Syracuse is playing on Wednesday, it means too many teams from the get-go.

Big East tourney ends Saturday night so its 5 days, only 1 day longer than pretty much all the other conference tourneys.

IIRC, not all the teams in the Big East qualify for the conference tourney.
