I'd say each of the past three seasons. White's senior year didn't look like a tourney team then went on a tear down the stretch. Uthoff/Gesell/Woody/Sapp team wasn't a preseason pick to even make the dance and lost 3 non-conference games, and still came back in a hurry to make it to number 3 in the land and eventually into the dance. Then last year I honestly thought it'd be what this year has been, but getting a top NIT seed was impressive after the bad non-conference and the Purdue and NW blowout losses. I always thought Marble's senior year would break the tourney drought, but also never thought they'd crack the top 10 at any point, which they did. But in the end they finished about what I expected, Indiana collapse debacle and Patrick's health taking some wind out of that season, so I will only count the last three years.
