which fan base is most unhappy

Each year a few teams notably fail to live up to expectations. Some make the news and others don't but still, it seems that every year, a lot of fans find themselves pissed off and let down.

Wisconsin

Clemson

Florida

UCLA

Va Tech

Alabama

Some had low or uncertain expectations and some are shocked.

I'm not sure where Iowa's fan base is. I think we're bracing for repeated ass kicking - which is rare for us. I hope it turns into absolute triumph.

I'd say Clemson or Bama. Their recent (well at least relatively recent) success had them winning and competing for NC's. Once they get that taste in their mouth, those fan bases get spoiled quickly and expect to compete for national championships on a yearly basis forgetting how significant that accomplishment is. They lose all appreciation for what we'd consider "great" seasons and simply see things as we either win it all or it doesn't matter. It's sad really that 90% of teams around the country would be thrilled for their "down years" while they just assume to forget about them come the off season.

Can't be UCLA, they have no fans.

Wisky has to be right up there because they thought they had a coach and he is regressing the program right before their Jumping Around eyes. Unless things change drastically, he should be gone regardless of the buy-out.

F Bama, Clemson, and Florida. They can take their turn being just above average for a year or two.

Iowa fans should be happy right now. Close loss to a ranked team on the road. Good road win. Two cupcake blowouts. But, there is a lot of football to be played and this team, with that schedule, looks closer to 6-6 than 10-2.
