Wow, what a relief to see Alabama is still in the top four. I was really worried that a lost to a #15 team was going to knock them out of BSC Championship contention. I really appreciate the pollsters placing Georgia at #5 too. This way one of the beloved SEC teams will be at least #2 in the country when they finish playing their conference championship game. I wonder if all the SEC teams had four losses how they would get one of them in the Championship game? Me thinks somehow they would figure a way...... lol.

If Oregon, K-State, and Notre Dame all take care of business, then I think the 1-loss SEC champ would be left outside looking in. All those teams have at least one quality opponent remaining:

KState: Texas
Notre Dame: USC
Oregon: Stanford, Oregon State, Pac-12 Title Game

I have no problem pulling for two out of the three but I am going to have trouble with the fainting Irish.

That's fair. I'm in grad school at BC right now, so I was definitely rooting against them last night. To no avail.
