Where's Jonathan Parker been?

Didn't he say later that he never really practiced it before?

Wouldn't shock me. And that would put it squarely on the coaching staff for calling that on his first snap of 2015, still.

But honestly, Parker is buried behind the Smiths (T and J). And if you see him as the fast slot receiver you'd really have to put him in over Vandeberg (not happening) AND think he's a better pass catching option than any of the three ridiculous TEs (especially Kittle).

Are you guys talking about the reverse fumble this year? I thought that was Mitchell?

Doh. Please refer to my earlier concession of limited football knowledge... although I usually get the names right.

Free Dirk Willis!

I got Powell and Parker mixed up......I haven't even thought about Parker until this thread came up.

To me, I'd bet he is struggling with blocking. I think one of the main reason Riley has held his starting spot is not because he's great at shedding db's and getting open, or has glue-trap hands..... The dude is a great blocker for our running backs. We've had more long runs by our RB's this year because of great blocking down field by the wide receivers.

I don't know how well JP can block... I'm just guessing it's very important.

Wow...glad I read the whole thread before replying. I'll just say this: Jonathan Parker has two more years to play. Let's leave it at that.
