I think it was the third biggest win ever:
1) 1985 Michigan
2) 1991 OSU
3) 2012 MSU

I think it was one of MSU's biggest meltdowns in history. They handed it to us.
Kind of reminded me of the 2007 Illinois game to be honest. Not anywhere near as good as the ugly 6-4 2004 Penn State win. That was epic.
It is a sign that all is right. Our defense played with confidence and actually closed out a close Big Ten game. We haven't seen that bince 2009. That game was a turning point for this young team, it might not manifest itself this year because the offense is struggling mightily without O'Keefe, but that was a giant confidence builder for the D that will yield positive things for the future. That's why I rank it so high. It feels like the 2008 Penn State game, a sign of good things to come.

Better Title. Where does this one rank in the ugliest Iowa wins of all time.
Pretty ugly

Dude the only thing funnier that your post... is the sad fact that its satire escapes so many on the site.
Upon further reflection, I would actually move this down 2 more spots behind the 2004 Wisconsin game and the 1987 OSU game. I was thinking more in terms of Big Ten games, surely the Rose Bowl win back in the '50's was huge and the Orange Bowl against GT was nice as well, plus all the wins Hayden had against Iowa State (back when we could regularly beat them).
I think something clicked with the defense, though, and that is what is going to carry us for the next few seasons.
