Where does this Bowl Game Win rank in your minds?

With the way this shook out, I'm looking at who we beat rather than where we beat them. Mizzou was a top 12 team. That's a very good win any day!

Very high since I just got back from watching it in person with my son, which was a bigger part of the thrill.

In my mind, though, it does not come close to the way the Hawks throttled Georgia Tech a year ago in a BCS bowl. With your caveat of a "minor" bowl, I'd say 2005 CapOne bowl would be bigger than the Insight win.

I would say number 1. This Missouri team was much better than GT last year. I believe this is the best team we have ever defeated in a bowl game.

Number 1!

I might give LSU in 2004 an edge. That running game was rugged, the offense clicked when Russell took the reins, and that defense was downright nasty. We busted some big plays, but that team was damn good.

This bowl win was so special because it brings positivity back for the fans and probably the team. This year was a tough one, but there is such a fine line between winning and losing.

A renewed energy is back and people looking forward to next season and some new players to follow. It was a dark December in ways until today. Everything seems fresh again.

Also, the Norm story is great to see. Same with Coker; he seems like a great, poised kid. Congrats to Kirk as it shows how committed he is to Iowa football.

I was thinking the Cap One against LSU as #1, but this one is probably more important to the psyche of the program.

This was Iowa's greatest bowl win ever. It's not very often you play a top 12 team when your game is the only game on TV. Kids who are not even in gestation yet will be talking about this game in 20 years when they are deciding on where to attend college and it will give us a recruiting edge over Missouri for a long time.
