They found out he was an Iowa fan, those Nebraska folk have him locked in a basement somewhere. I too miss his in depth analysis, especially during recruiting time.

I was wondering about Homer too. Always enjoyed reading his perspective.

He has not been on other boards either so the behavior on this board probably not a factor. Hopefully he is in good health.

I agree that this board is getting terrible. All the name calling is uncalled for. You start reading a thread that you think is going to be interesting and then it turns into a name calling contest.

Several years back homer left the boards during another meltdown so I presume he has taken a similar break.

homer is a passionate, insughtfull, optimistic fan. I love that boards like this are open to all opinions but hate that so many people with so much time come here to troll and create accounts just to get under the skin of others.

Its really quite sad and shallow. I can understand why he would find better uses of his time.

Agreed. That would be my first lead too. "Slez" already took himself "out" of the eqaution.
