When will we start getting votes in the polls???

I don't think hok was trolling, but I agree Iowa hasn't beat a true tournament team. Maybe ISU will make it but if they wouldn't have beaten V-tech and W-St. I think Iowa should be in the top 25 for being undefeated. If V-tech had more depth I think they would be a tournament team. W-St. only makes the tournament if they beat Creighton for the MVC championship. After Indiana and Michigan, we will know where this Iowa team stands or atleast a better understanding.

Hahahaha

If that is true then that could be bad news for the B1G.

Considering that the Pac-12, Big 12, SEC, and ACC aren't very strong this year, I don't think it's going to have an impact on the Big 10's total bids. Pac will likely get 1-2, the Big 12 will probably only get 3 at the most. It's a two-horse race this year between the Big 10 and Big East.

Mvc would not get three at larges though. Two could happen with a surprise for the automatic

We will not get any votes unless we win 2 out of three of the first conference games. Even if we beat Indiana I don't think we get votes.

too many things would have to break right for this team to be ranked this year

being ranked 15-20 throughout next year would be a challenging goal for next year's team. adding utoff will be a plus next year, as (hopefully) will jok off the bench to give another shooter.

having oglesby, utoff, woodbury, and gesell will give four top-100 talents on the team, but there's a big dropoff from the top 25 kids and then that bottom 50. bottom 50 kids are four-year players and the building blocks of successful programs, but they're not going to come in and turn NIT teams into sweet 16 teams in a year.

the following year could take it up another tier. unless he suddenly gets mad game, woodbury is a three-year college player, more likely four, and gesell is going to be a four-year player. when they're upperclassmen, this team could be back to Lute-level.

one step at a time....

way to early for predictions about next year IMO. This is our year and I think it's now or never, like Hoiberg at Iowa state last year.

How can you even expect ppl to think that's a rational comment? Less obvious my little troll, less obvious.
