When will Iowa have another first rounder?

Just wondering what people think. When will Iowa have another first round NBA draft pick? I know it's not a very common thing here and if I remember correctly Ricky Davis in 98 was the last one. Do we have anyone now that will develop into that? Just wondering everybody's thoughts.

I think woody will leave mid year to pursue his professional career. He so good!

Well it wouldn't hurt him to go overseas and make some cash before coming back and being a lottery pick. I guess he could leave middle of next year and then go pro.

The more I think about it, Gessell may be a lottery pick too. I just don't see him falling to the middle of the first round.

4 years gives Woody a lot of time to improve his game and you cant teach 7 foot. So ill predict he finishes his 4 years at Iowa will end up as a first rounder.

Aaron White has the highest probability to be the first guy drafted that is currently on our squad since he is a sophomore.......Gesell or Woodbury have a chance as well, but I would guess that it will take 4 years for all 3 to get drafted.

Actually I am not sure any of them are lottery picks since it is difficult to understand the science of the NBA draft and whom is a Lottery Pick..

Wait, I thought marble was leaving for the NBA after this year, and that Basabe was a lock to leave early as the #1 pick?????

Iowa should have at least 3 elite 8 finishes don't you think with this kind of talent? At least 1 final 2....wow things have really improved.

Jimmer is listed as 6 foot 2. (Gesell is listed as 6 foot 1). He was the 10th pick of the 2011 draft. He's currently averaging 10 minutes per game.

Agree.... Moves decent enough, will get physically stronger and is 7'1.

He is the only one on the roster with a chance. Marble, White, Gesell all have holes which hurt them.
