...when will ESPN make an attempt to get it right?

As soon as they hire someone that doesn't write with the journalistic equivalent of an hysterical school girl.

Funny how Rittenberg didn't mention the misinformation and uninformed opinions that were out there.

Rittenberg didn't write that. The author was "ESPN news services". All those kinds of articles have the link to the respective conference blogger. Adam doesn't usually post anything on the weekends unless it's breaking news on a developing story (for example, if the players had gone INTO the hospital yesterday, he would have written something either yesterday or today).

Didn't catch that. It seems odd that ESPN would be his mug next to something he didn't write.

They do that will most of the college football news stories. I swear, it's gotta be a tactic to deflect criticism from the Mothership (I mean just look at the reaction you had directed at Rittenberg :D).

What do you want them to say?

I would like them to share the whole statement issued by Ferentz and Barta. If you can't tell the whole story, then don't tell any of it. That is all I am getting at. ESPN wasn't the only media outlet throwing stones at Ferentz and the U of I.
