I even had that feeling of foreboding when once Iowa grabbed the lead back it seemed like every minute of game time was taking 8 minutes of real time to play...I HATE that!
When was the last time Iowa came back from being down 23 points

This was the greatest comeback in Iowa basketball history. Iowa has never come back from a 23 point deficit to win the game.

Why is it so unbelievable? They came out strong, fast and switching defenses up in the first half. They got us out of our element. 2nd half was the opposite, we came out strong, fast and with much more defensive pressure and forced them out of their element. This GW team is not that bad. Same goes for CMU, they had a few juco transfers that will help them out. We have had a couple good tests for this team so far.
